L.  David McBride

L.  David McBride is founder and president of McBride & Associates, P.  C.  where he practices in estate planning, trusts and wills, business planning, probate, and bankruptcy.  Mr.  McBride took his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from the University of Oklahoma.  He has studied law at the University of Oklahoma College of Law and at Queen’s College, Oxford, England. 

During his legal education, Mr.  McBride was honored with numerous scholarly awards for his academic achievements and his superb legal writing skills including the Harry Alley-Leroy Allen Prize, the Frank C.  Love Memorial Scholarship, ASCAP/Nathan Burken Memorial Prize, and the American Jurisprudence Award for International Law.  He was also a member of the Oklahoma Law Review and served as an editor. 

Over the last 27+ years his skills and expertise have been in high demand for both his clients and other attorneys alike.  He regularly speaks to church and civic groups on trusts and estate planning.  He also teaches educational seminars in probate and estate planning to other attorneys and legal professionals.  He is a long-time resident of Edmond. 

Margaret M.  Myers

Margaret Myers has practiced law for over 26 years in the state of Oklahoma.  Ms.  Myers is admitted to Oklahoma, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.  Ms.  Myers earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law where she received the BNA Publishing Award and served as the President of the Organization for the Advancement of Women in Law.  She received her undergraduate degree in Journalism with an emphasis on Marketing and Advertising from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1991. 

During her legal career, Ms.  Myers has had the opportunity to gain experience in appellate law arguing at both the state and federal level, as well as litigation stemming from catastrophic accidents, intellectual property, insurance bad faith, class actions and professional liability.  She has served on legal committees for the Oklahoma County Bar Association and previously belonged to the appellate practice and insurance sections of the Oklahoma Bar Association until expanding her areas of practice.  She concentrates on providing individuals, families and businesses with personalized, compassionate, and assertive representation.  She presently focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, bankruptcy, guardianship and business planning. 

David M.  Roberts

David M. Roberts practices primarily in bankruptcy and probate law. He has helped countless numbers of people file bankruptcy, litigated adversary proceedings, and guided businesses through both restructuring and liquidation. Mr. Roberts was selected to the 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 AVVO Top Attorneys for Bankruptcy. Prior to joining McBride & Associates, P.C., Mr. Roberts served as lead counsel for Affiliated Legal Services, Inc. He is licensed to practice in the Western and Eastern Districts of the Oklahoma Federal Courts. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association since 1993, and the Oklahoma County Bar Association. Mr. Roberts graduated from East Central University and the University of Oklahoma. While attending law school he was a member of the moot court team. Mr. Roberts has been married for over 22 years and has two daughters.

Karina R. Lueck

Karina R. Lueck practices primarily in estate planning and probate law. Ms. Lueck is licensed to practice in the Western and Eastern Districts of the Oklahoma Federal Courts. She earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2022, and she received her undergraduate degree in Criminology from the University of Oklahoma in 2019. During her legal career, Ms. Lueck has had the opportunity to represent clients for wrongful termination under Title VII, the Americans with Disability Act, Family Medical Leave Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and more. She currently practices in the areas of Estate Planning, Business Planning, and Probate. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two cats, lifting, and spending time outdoors.

Kim L. Underwood

Kim L. Underwood is an experienced attorney in multiple areas of law including oil & gas, state criminal appeals, family law and personal injury law.  Mrs. Underwood is licensed to practice law in the State of Oklahoma, the United States District Courts for the Northern, and Western Districts of Oklahoma and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

In 1997, Mrs. Underwood received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma.  In 2000, Mrs. Underwood studied law at Chapman University School of Law in Orange, California.  While in California, Mrs. Underwood helped indigent people file pleadings with The Superior Court of California, County of Orange Family Law Division.  In 2001, Mrs. Underwood earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.  During her legal studies at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, Mrs. Underwood was awarded a scholarship for her excellent writing skills in her municipal law class and won a mock trial in her trial techniques class.

In 2001, Mrs. Underwood served as an Assistant Oklahoma Attorney General.  Mrs. Underwood represented the State of Oklahoma in criminal appellate cases before the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals.  Mrs. Underwood also provided legal representation for oil & gas operators in exploration and development matters before the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.

Currently, Mrs. Underwood focuses on providing clients with caring, diligent legal services in the areas of business planning and estate planning.  Mrs. Underwood enjoys helping business clients form new LLCs and corporations. Mrs. Underwood also creates comprehensive estate plans that can include a Revocable Living Trust, a Will, an Advanced Directive for Healthcare, a Healthcare Power of Attorney, a General Durable Power of Attorney, and a Power of Attorney for Child Care and Nomination of Guardian.  Mrs. Underwood finds estate planning to be a rewarding area of law because she can help clients prepare for the future and leave a legacy to their loved ones.

Mrs. Underwood was inspired to pursue a legal career by her older brother who is also an attorney.  Mrs. Underwood lives in Oklahoma City with her husband, daughter, and three sons.  On weekends, she enjoys attending church and spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies include photography, art, traveling, cooking and spoiling her dogs.
